Service Hours

Volunteer Opportunities Directory

Documenting Community Service

Students need to document their service hours using the form provided by the Christian Service Center at Christian Brothers High School. The form is available both online and in the Christian Service Center.

The form needs to be filled out by the student and signed by a supervisor at the organization where he/she served. The supervisor’s signature will verify the hours the student served during the specified dates. It is recommended that each student take a service form with them on the day they volunteer. Going back to non-profit agencies to get signatures can be a difficult process.

Students need to write a 250 word reflection about their volunteer experience. Reflection questions can be found on the service form. All reflections must be typed. Please follow the directions given on the form.

Once a student reaches the goal of 100 hours we will put their service hours on their permanent transcripts.
