Adriana Mundo taught Spanish in Mexico to adults from various countries prior to coming to the United States in 1990. She then continued teaching Spanish to adults but this time in the Bay Area. From 1992-1993 she taught Spanish in Middle School in El Cerrito. Adriana and her husband relocated to Sacramento in 1993 after which she engaged in translation in support of policies affecting Hispanic factory employees. In 1994, Adriana joined the faculty of Christian Brothers as a Spanish instructor and has enjoyed teaching Christian Brothers students ever since. Adriana served as moderator of the Maya Club from 1994 until 2007. Every summer Adriana attends Advanced Placement conferences in support of the CB AP Spanish program. Adriana enjoys exercising and dancing to Latin music. She is married, and travels to Mexico to visit family every year.
