Christian Brothers High School, Sacramento is seeking a part-time
Journalism/Web publishing teacher for the 2012-13 school year.
Degree in Communications, English, Journalism or similar area is required - Masters Degree and/or California Credential preferred.
Preferred Experiences:
• Professional Journalism or teaching Journalism/Writing
• Web publishing, web posting, blogging, or web design
• Understanding of WordPress or similar content management system
• Building individual or professional online platforms
Personal Qualities:
• Vision for an online high school newspaper (the Christian Brothers Talon)
• Passion for high school journalism
• Commitment to building a strong convergence between the Talon and KBFT (the Christian Brothers on-campus television network)
• Ability to grow the Media Department at CB
• Understanding that layout design is an art form
