What to Give

Ambassadors Club
Members are all donors who give $1,876 or more annually to the school. Ambassadors receive special recognition in the Connection Magazine, and at the annual Ambassadors Club dinner held each October.

Endowed Gifts
Gifts may be added to currently establish endowed funds or a gift of $25,000 can be used to create a new endowed fund. Gifts to the endowment help secure the financial stability of the school by providing annual income to CBHS.

Personal Property or Equipment
Christian Brothers High School will gladly accept gifts of personal property, equipment and other items of value, if the items are relevant to the needs of the school.

Planned Gifts
Remember CBHS in your will or retirement plan. Gift annuities, life insurance, charitable remainder trusts, lead trusts, and bequests are examples of planned giving. By making such a gift to Christian Brothers you not only contribute to the school’s future, in many instances there are benefits to your heirs and you may enjoy a tax deduction or avoid capital gains or estate taxes.

Real Estate
Gifts of real estate can be given to the school outright, transferred to the school in a bargain sale, or can be used to fund a gift annuity or unitrust. In some cases it may be possible to arrange a sizable tax deduction by deeding property to the school now, while continuing to occupy the property during your lifetime.

Securities or Stock Gifts
Gifts of appreciated securities can be made to CBHS, and can provide substantial tax advantages to the donor. Please call us for more information.
