Falcons Prep For CAL Title Rubber Match vs. Vista

By Natalie Garcia

As the regular season comes to an end, the boys are headed to Vista del Lago for another a chance to retain the Capital Athletic League championsip. Our Falcons are entering the game confidently with a seven game winning streak. With our boys stronger than ever with tight end Spender Webb ‘18 and new Qb Gunnor Faulk ’18, we still have to remember the rough start to the game last year.  Brothers did in fact score the first touchdown of last year’s matchup, the Eagles quickly retaliated and by the end of first quarter lead 32-19.  After an unexpected blackout of the Hughes Stadium lights, the Falcons gained momentum and blew out the Eagles 74-32 to earn the CAL championship. Co-captain Jack O’Hearn ’18 is preparing for the game by “watching film and studying the games they played this year and last year” as he hopes to “crush their senior night”. Co-captain Jake Regino ’18 is “excited to play in another League Championship.” Make sure to come out to Vista del Lago Friday Night at 7:00 to watch our boys gain another win against the Eagles.
