Varsity Football: The varsity football team beat Casa Roble last Saturday night by a score of 54-12. The Falcons were led on offense by Senior Spencer Webb who finished the night with 5 catches for 87 yards and 3 touchdowns including an amazing one handed catch at the end of the first half. Also leading the Falcon offense was the good play from the Offensive Line. The Falcons rushed for 198 yards on 24 carries. Brothers was led on Defense by Seniors Cameryn Walker, Tyler Hall, and Mitchell Berger. Walker and Berger each had a defensive touchdown in the Falcons romp and the Falcons ended the night with 5 forced turnovers. The team takes on Vista Del Lago tonight in Folsom for the CAL championship and a favorable seed in the SJS playoffs.
Overall record: 7 – 2, League record: 4 – 0.

JV FootballLast week our JV football team took on Casa Roble in a pivotal league game. The Falcons were shorthanded with 2 of our top linemen not available for the game. Luke Jones returned the opening kickoff for a touchdown making the game 6-0. Reed Mercer  came up with a huge safety later in the half making it 8-0 at halftime. Casa Roble scored in the 3rd qtr. but we stopped their 2 pt. conversion attempt making it 8-6. It was a sloppy game for both teams with many turnovers and penalties. Casa had a chance to win the game in the final minute but Donnie Epson picked off the quarterback in the endzone to save the game. Our Falcons plays Vista Del Lago for the League Championship this Friday.  League Record: 3 – 0

Freshman FootballThe freshman football team traveled up to Vista Del Lago to play their final game of the season.  Vista came out and took a 14 – 0 lead.  At the end of the half George Rios and Bryan Garrett hooked up on a long pass to bring the Falcons within a touchdown.  Unfortunately, the boys could not build on that momentum losing 28 – 7.  Even though they ended the season with some tough losses, the future should look bright with the return of many gifted athletes moving up to the next level.  The coaching staff has many high expectations from this team.
Overall Record:  3 – 5 – 1.

Women’s Varsity Volleyball:  The Women’s Varsity Volleyball team came into this week opening playoffs vs the Benicia Panthers on Tuesday.
