By Matt Schneider

Christian Brothers Men’s basketball took on Mira Loma on Tuesday at home. The Falcons looked to pick up their 7th league win and get one step closer to a league championship. Christian Brothers started off the game strong by jumping out to a 20-10 lead at the end of the first quarter. At the end of the half, CB scored a season high 46 points in the half. The offense was clicking all night with hot 3 point shooting from Will Warner (’18), great interior play from Everett Perrot (’18), and buckets from all over the court from Andre Albason (’18). Christian Brothers had a strong second half to follow the first half and the Falcons were able to secure another big league win with a final score of 85-53. Next up for the Falcons is senior night on Thursday against Rio Americano. This game will serve as the league championship, with both teams entering the game with a 7-1 league record. This is a crucial game for both teams because the winner of league is guaranteed a top four seed in the Division III playoffs. Following the Rio Americano game, Christian Brothers will take on El Camino on the road in the regular season finale. The Falcons are hoping to win both games and head into playoffs with momentum.
