Women’s Basketball Steam Rolls another CAL team

This Wednesday CB’s Lady Falcons took on Mira Loma for the second time in a league game at home. This was their first game since beating Vista del Lago 70-24 on Friday, February 2nd. They walked into the game with full confidence after beating them the first time 91-16 and expected nothing less than 40 point lead by half-time. In the first quarter they were up by 31 points, only allowing Mira Loma to make one free throw. In the second quarter CB was up by 47 points allowing the Matadors to score 5 more points. By the end of the game the Lady Falcons demolished Mira Loma 85-12 keeping their league record at 8-0, their overall record at 17-7, and state rank at 127. The women’s basketball team is not looking to disappoint as they enter their final league game against Rio Americano this Friday night.
