Last Friday and Saturday, the Lady Falcons played in the High Sierra Invitational in Reno. The girls went 4-3, winning 3 games Friday, losing the first 3 games Saturday and wining the last game against Douglas to close out the tournament. Friday started against Atwater with a win of 2-0. They then went on to beat Wooster and Granite Bay 2-0 as well. On Saturday, they lost 2-0 against Consumnes Oaks, 2-1 against El Camino, and 2-0 against Douglas.
On Monday, the Lady Falcons fought hard against the Capital Christian Cougars, winning 3-2. The girls played back and forth against the Cougars, winning the first set 25-15, but losing the second set 25-18. They then quickly won the third, 25-13, but lost their momentum falling 25-20 in the fourth set.The Lady Falcons played hard right down to the wire to beat the Cougars 15-10 to close out a tough match.
The girls take on Rio Wednesday in an away game at 6:15 PM.

During the Labor Day Weekend, Falcons Cross Country team competed in the Sierra Invitational at Sierra College. The boys Varsity team placed 2nd overall, out of thirteen teams, and our girls Varsity placing 4th. Congratulations to Malia Gay ’21, Nevin Afong ’19, Isaiah Jimenez ’19, for all placing in the top ten of their races. We look forward to seeing our Falcon runners again this weekend at Golden Gate Park.
