Last Friday, the varsity girls volleyball team played against the Saint Francis Troubadour’s in the annual Holy Court. The Falcons were missing co-captain and outside hitter, Sophia Overstreet ‘20 do to clearance issue on her concussion test. She averages 7 points per game and has a total of 91 points as of now, which is far past the national average. Senior and co-captain Caty Cordano ‘19 had a total of 18 digs with 6 digs per set. The Troubies took the first set 25-14. After a quick first set win, the Troubies continued with this momentum into the second set and won 25-13. The Falcons gave their all in the third set, but despite their efforts, just couldn’t pull out the win and lost the third and final set 25-14.
