The Christian Brother’s men’s soccer team defeated Cordova High School this past Tuesday night in the wet and rainy Hughes Stadium. The Falcons  7-0 win proves that the Falcons are a strong force in the section. A standout hat trick from Zach Martin ’19 and goals from Dom Poletti ‘19, Tyler Valerio ‘21, RJ Dore ‘20, Diego Suethe ‘19 contributed to the success of the team. The Falcons offense was hot from the beginning, scoring early on and proving their dominance throughout the course of 90 minutes. Coach Jake Hunley said after the game, “If we are going to have a successful season, we will need to maintain this intensity and continue to play with passion.” The boys look to continue the solid start with another home game this Friday night at Sac City at 7:00pm against Napa High School.
