Men’s Soccer Defeats Sac High In A Blow Out

On Thursday night, the CB men’s soccer team had a Capital Athletic League match against the Sac High Dragons at home. The Falcons had an outstanding team win, scoring twelve goals and holding the dragons to zero goals. Hunter Dierlam ‘20 had an explosive, match scoring an astounding 3 goals and leading the Falcon’s offense to an impressive victory. Scott Cotter ‘20 came off the bench to be the second CB player to get a hat trick in this match.

When asked about the nature of Thursday night’s match, Richard Dore ‘20 said, “It was more of a slaughter than a game.” It truly was a slaughter with goals from Zach Martin ‘19Andrew Constancio ‘19Declan Simonovich ‘20, RJ Dore ‘20, Robert Murti ‘19,and Clark Jacobson ‘20. 

After this performance the Falcons understand that they are a force to be reckoned with, and are ready to repeat their success in their match against the McClatchy Lions. Despite their amazing win the Falcons are determined to continue improving and focusing on their upcoming matches against McClatchy, Del Campo on Tuesday, and Rio.
