Preseason Domination From Women’s Lacrosse

By Sydney Obmann
This past Wednesday, the Women’s Lacrosse team dominated the Ygnacio Valley Warriors from the moment the game started. Returning starter, Lily Witry ‘20, netted a goal within the first minute and the Falcons never looked back, as she scored 6 more for the team. They played an impressive first game, blowing the Warriors out of the water with the help of Sarah Louie ‘20, who put 4 more goals on the scoreboard. The Falcons finished with a final score of 18-2, starting their season off right.

Witry had a great contribution to this past game and the team hopes she can keep this up throughout the season.  “The team cares a lot about each other and everyone’s successes,” Witry says. “We all cheer each other on and want everyone to score.”

After the Falcons outstanding preseason game, they take on Bella Vista at 4 PM this Wednesday in an away conference game at Bella Vista High School. The team hopes to continue to work together and take their skills from last Wednesday against the Broncos, hoping for another win for the record. Come support our ladies lacrosse team this coming Wednesday!
