Christian Brothers High School Announces New Principal

June 1, 2020

Dear Families:

I am pleased to share that Ms. Annemarie Bacich, M.Ed., has enthusiastically accepted my offer to serve as principal of Christian Brothers High School. This announcement marks the culmination of a nationwide search and four rounds of comprehensive interviews during which it became apparent that she is the ideal individual to lead the academic and faith life of our Lasallian Catholic community.

Ms. Bacich comes to CB with extensive experience as a classroom teacher and administrator in Catholic schools in various cities on both the East and West Coasts. She holds a bachelor’s degree from University of San Francisco, a master’s degree from UC Berkeley, and an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from Columbia University. In addition to her notable educational and occupational background, Ms. Bacich also looks forward to sharing her love of travel (she speaks Spanish, Italian and French) and her passion for English literature.

I am grateful to Lorcan Barnes for his partnership in launching and participating in the search process, and thankful to the members of the Principal Search Committee: Ms. Trina Koontz, Dr. Lisa Bohon-Hock, Mr. David Desmond ’94, Mr. Julian Elorduy ’03, Dr. Michelle Hamilton, Mr. Michael Hood, Ms. Myra Makelim, Ms. June McBride, Ms. Kristen McCarthy, Mr. Dale Milton, Ms. Kelly Safford, Ms. Jennifer Yearwood, and Ms. Margarita Fernandez, for their time, dedication and expertise. I look forward to working with Ms. Bacich, our phenomenal faculty and staff, and all of you as we continue the 144-year legacy of this wonderful school.

Sincerely,

Crystal LeRoy, Ed.D.
Incoming President
