Christian Brothers High School Annual Auction & Gala – Celebrating 150 Years of Excellence.

Mark your calendars for Saturday March 14, 2026, as we kick off a truly unforgettable evening celebrating 150 years of academic excellence, lifelong friendships, and a community built on values, traditions, and faith. This year’s A Night to Remember Auction and Gala promises to be our biggest and most exciting event yet and we want YOU to be a part of it! Funds raised throughout the evening support CB education and needs based tuition assistance to ensure that talented students – regardless of their financial situation – have a chance to experience an incredible Lasallian Christian Brothers High School education.

Christian Brothers High School is pleased to share that Neil Breight has accepted our offer to serve as our new Head Varsity Football Coach.

Coach Breight’s coaching career reflects a deep dedication to teamwork, character formation, and competitive excellence, values that align closely with the Lasallian mission of Christian Brothers High School. His previous experience includes serving as head coach at Tri-City Christian School and as offensive coordinator at St. Augustine High School in San Diego, where he helped lead the team to a CIF San Diego Division I Championship. After relocating to the Sacramento region, Coach Breight joined the varsity football staff at Jesuit High School this past season, furthering his experience within the local high school football community.

As we look ahead to the upcoming season, we are confident that Coach Breight will be a positive presence for our student‑athletes and Junior Falcons. We look forward to welcoming him to campus and invite you to join us in supporting him and our football program as we begin this new chapter. Opportunities to meet Coach Breight will be shared soon.

Please be aware of Golden 1’s rules for attendance. Bags will not be allowed into the facility. Please do not bring one, they will turn you around. Outside food, drinks, or containers (Stanley’s, hydro-flasks) will not be permitted, no exceptions.

Christian Brothers High School Theatre department will present the CB Theatre Showcase, a collection of songs, scenes, monologues and the one act play, Little Extremes, one night only on February 6th at 7 PM. 

The program begins with songs from Musical Theatre performed by Makayla Alber ’28 and Paige Feely ’28.  Music Director, Graham Sobelman, will accompany on the piano.

A selection of three monologues by Shakespeare will be performed by three students from the Acting and Honors Acting Focus class: Jonathan Tomeldan ’26, Avi Hammel ’26, and Prairie Rose Parsell ’28.

A scene from Bert V. Royal’s play, Dog Sees God, about the Peanuts comic strip characters as teenagers, will be performed by Daphne Long ’28 and Nate Dickey ’27. 

A scene from Strangers on a Train by Craig Warner will follow, featuring Jonathan Tomeldan ’26 and Gabriel Chrisman ’28, in the thriller made famous by Alfred Hitchcock’s film version.

Finishing out the program is a one act play, Little Extremes, by Mark Jackson and directed by student Mirelia Saavedra ’26.  The play explores how arguments surrounded by extreme circumstances can escalate into violence as well as holding a mirror up to America’s gun problem.  The play’s serious subject is staged with a highly theatrical concept and a dark sense of humor.

Please join us for a historic evening at our 150th Anniversary Alumni Dinner and Awards. This is more than a meal—it’s a homecoming. Come reconnect with old friends, share your favorite stories, and celebrate the enduring spirit of Christian Brothers, Bishop Armstrong, and Bishop Manogue.

We will begin by honoring the Class of 1976 with their Golden Diplomas, followed by a special tribute to our Alumni Service Award winner, Keith Cherry ’82, and Honorary Alumnus, Susanne Pierson. The celebration continues with cocktails, dinner, and a night of camaraderie spanning every generation of our alumni family.

Please join us for the Parent Volunteer Fair on Thursday, January 29, from 6 p.m. -7 p.m. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the event will be held in the cafeteria. Come learn about our new parent engagement structure, the Falcon Faithful, and hear about all of the ways to get involved on campus. Light refreshments provided. All are welcome!
