Gregory Walaitis

Men's Head JV Lacrosse Coach

Coach Walaitis has been playing and coaching lacrosse for over 25 years.  Walaitis started his playing career at John F. Kennedy High School on Long Island, NY and was a three year All-Nassau County midfielder. Following high school, he went on to play Division 1 lacrosse at CW Post and finished his collegiate career playing at Arizona State. In his spare time, he still plays with Arizona, Sacramento and Central California men’s club teams.  Walaitis is a former member of the U.S. Lacrosse NorCal Lacrosse Board and chair of the NorCal Lacrosse Foundation.

Greg is the head coach of the Christian Brothers High School men’s lacrosse program, a new CIF men’s program started in 2017. Walaitis is also the U14 head coach for Sacramento Aces club program. Greg is married 22 years to Karen and has two children, Megan ’17, who will play at Fresno State in the fall, and Derek ’19, both students at Christian Brothers.
