Monique Judge joined the Christian Brothers faculty in 2025. She holds a B.A. in Humanities from California State University, Chico, an M.A. in English from National University, and a Single Subject Teaching Credential from Chapman University.
Gretchen Tournabene joined Christian Brothers in 2025 as an English teacher. She hold a bachelor’s degree from Amherst College in English, a Master’s Degree from San Diego State University in American Literature, and a teaching credential from National University. Ms. Tournabene played field hockey and ice hockey in college and still plays ice hockey. She is the proud parent of 3 kids (1 current Falcon and 2 future Falcons).
Ms. Ashley Wake joined the Christian Brothers High School faculty in 2022. She holds a bachelor’s degree in feminist studies with an emphasis in history from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a master’s degree in teaching from the University of San Francisco. Ms. Wake is the moderator of the weightlifting club. She is an avid scholar and devout Catholic who loves spending time with her husband and three children.
Mr. Dave Anderson ’07 graduated from Christian Brothers in 2007 and returned as a teacher in 2013. He holds a bachelor’s degree in English from UC Davis. In addition to teaching, Mr. Anderson is the moderator for the school’s online newspaper (CBTalon.com), Quiz Bowl, and the PA announcer for various CB sports events.
Maureen Wanket has a B.A. in English Literature from UC Santa Cruz, multiple subject and single subject teaching credentials, a Master’s in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from Sacramento State, and an MFA in Fiction from Ashland University.
Mrs. Annie Vanenburg joined the Christian Brothers faculty in 2004. She holds a bachelor’s degree in education from CSU Sacramento, a teaching credential from Fresno State University and a master’s degree from St. Mary’s College of California. In addition to teaching, Vanenburg is a senior class moderator. She also has a California Association of Master Activities Advisor Certificate.
Mr. O.J. Solander joined the Christian Brothers High School faculty in 2016. He holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Santa Clara University and a master’s degree in journalism from Syracuse University. Currently, Mr. Solander teaches Mastering the Essay and Sophomore Literature.
Mrs. Natalia Schorn ’00 joined the Christian Brothers High School faculty in 2005. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a minor in English and a single subject teaching credential from St. Mary’s College of California. Currently, Mrs. Schorn is the Yearbook moderator.
