Anna Fernandez

Ms. Anna Fernández joined the Christian Brothers High School faculty in 2011. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Chicana/o studies, a credential and master’s degree in Education, all from UC Davis. Ms. Fernandez has served as a classroom teacher, assistant director of the Lasallian Student Life Office, and as Assistant Principal of Student Life and Instruction and is the moderator of La Raza.

Bernie Eckel

Mr. Bernie Eckel rejoined the Christian Brothers High School faculty in 2008. He holds a bachelor’s degree in physics from Washington State University. Currently, Mr. Eckel teaches Honors Physics, AP Physics, and Integrated Physics and Chemistry.

David Desmond ’94

Mr. David Desmond ’94 joined the Christian Brothers High School faculty in 2014. He holds a bachelor’s degree in history from University of Redlands, a teaching credential from Azusa Pacific University, and a master’s degree in education from Concordia University. He previously taught at La Salle High School – Pasadena where he was named Lasallian Educator of the Year. Mr. Desmond is the co-moderator of Mock Trial and the Freshman Class moderator.

Chrys Cassetta

Ms. Chrys Cassetta taught at Christian Brothers High School from 1990 – 1994 and returned again in 2000. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology with an English minor from CSU Sacramento.  She earned her teaching credential from CSU Sacramento and a master’s degree in educational leadership from St. Mary’s College of California. Ms. Cassetta has 38 years of experience in Catholic School education.  In addition to teaching, Ms. Cassetta also serves as the Scholar Program Director and Blanket Club Moderator.

Tomas Capogreco ’86

Mr. Tomas Capogreco ’86 joined the Christian Brothers High School faculty in 1994. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Spanish from CSU Sacramento and a teaching credential from Chapman University. He is a graduate of the the LaSallian Leadership Insitiute at St. Mary’s College. Currently, Mr. Capogreco serves as the World Languages Department Chair and is the moderator of the Classic Rock Club.

Nicole Brousseau

Mrs. Nicole Brousseau joined the Christian Brothers High School faculty in 2000. She holds a bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in chemistry from CSU Sacramento and a teaching credential from National University.  Currently, Mrs. Brousseau teaches AP Biology and Accelerated Biology.
