Megan White joined the CB faculty as a science teacher in 2023. She holds a bachelor’s degree in liberal studies from California State University, Sacramento and a master’s degree in teaching from UC Davis.
Ross Hammond ’95 joined the Media, Visual, & Performing Arts Department in 2023. He holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from California State University, Sacramento. An acclaimed musician and educator for the past 25 years, Mr. Hammond has traveled the world sharing his talent as a jazz guitarist. He is thrilled to return to his alma mater and share his experiences and love of music with the next generation.
Mr. Ben Naval joined CB’s math department in 2023. He holds a bachelor’s degree in pure mathematics with a minor in math and science education, and a single-subject teaching credential. His hobbies include hiking, fitness, coffee, and video games, and one of his biggest life goals is to visit all of the National Parks.
Mr. Paul Sunderman joined the CB faculty in 2023 as a Religious Studies teacher. Prior to joining the CB faculty, Mr. Sunderman spent 22 years teaching in Catholic parochial schools at the junior high level. For the last 11 years, he served as the junior high religion and history teacher at Sacred Heart Parish School in Sacramento. He holds a bachelor’s degree in history and a joint master’s degree in History/Humanities and Religious Studies from California State University, Sacramento. His academic focus was the early history of Christianity and the development of Christian Theology and he also loves music, world religions, and linguistics.. Mr. Sunderman is the Lasallian Youth Club Moderator.
Ms. Cindy Maldonado joined the CB faculty as a religious studies teacher in 2023. She holds a bachelor’s degree in education from Marquette University and a master’s degree in educational administration from Governors State University. Ms. Maldonado’s husband Luis graduated from Christian Brothers High School in 1982. Her son, Max ’26, and daughter, Maya ’27, are also proud members of our Falcon family.
