Dawn Jackson joined the World Languages Department in 2022 as an instructor of American Sign Language.

Juanita Patterson ’81

Ms. Juanita Patterson, M.S. PPS, joined the Christian Brothers High School staff in 2022. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from UC Davis, and a master’s degree in counseling with an emphasis in school psychology. Ms. Patterson worked as a school psychologist for 25 years in the public education sector. With deep CB/Lasallian ties, Ms. Patterson is a proud graduate of Bishop Manogue High School and mother to three CB graduates. In addition, two of her three children and her husband are graduates of St. Mary’s College of California – Go Gaels! Ms. Patterson is the club moderator for the Belonging Group and the Bring Change to Mind club.

Michelle Timm, M.A., PPS

Ms. Michelle Timm, M.A., PPS,  joined the Christian Brothers High School staff in 2022.  She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Sonoma State University and a master’s degree in counseling with pupil personal services. Ms. Timm has worked as a school counselor since 1996. In her off time, she loves spending time with family and friends, working with her horses, gardening, Netflix, walking her dog, and traveling.

Karolyn Pelka

Mrs. Karolyn Pelka joined the Christian Brothers High School staff in 2021. She holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Santa Clara University.

Manolito Jaldon Jr., D.Min.

Dr. Manolito Jaldon joined the Lasallian Student Life Office at Christian Brothers High School in 2021. He earned a Doctor of Ministry degree from Mount Angel Seminary, a Master of Arts in Theology from Augustine Institute, and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Religious Studies from Mount Angel Seminary. He works with God Squad and the Senior Retreat Leadership Team in offering meaningful retreats, prayer experiences, and liturgies for the whole community.  

James Wykes, Ph.D.

Dr. James Wykes joined the Christian Brothers faculty in 2021. He holds B.A.s in both Theology and English, an M.A. in Theology, and a Ph.D. in Theology with an emphasis in Judaism and Christianity in Antiquity from Marquette University. He has experience in the classroom as a graduate assistant and worked for Sylvan Learning Center for four years. Dr. Wykes is the Lasallian Youth Moderator.

Luca Cerati

Mr. Luca Cerati joined the Christian Brothers staff in 2021 as the Director of Alumni Engagement. Bringing grassroots engagement, community building, and sales experience with him, Cerati is committed to community service and philanthropy, and understands the value of a Catholic education. He is designing and leading the strategic execution of alumni-centric, culturally competent programming that keeps CB alumni engaged and connected to the school’s mission. He is responsible for enhancing the relationship between alumni and CB, and among alumni themselves.

Ms. Laura Hohlwein joined the Christian Brothers faculty in 2021 as the digital art teacher.
