Mrs. Natalia Schorn ’00 joined the Christian Brothers High School faculty in 2005. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a minor in English and a single subject teaching credential from St. Mary’s College of California. Currently, Mrs. Schorn is the Yearbook moderator.
Mrs. Annette Romani joined the Christian Brothers High School faculty in 2016. She holds a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in mathematics from UC Davis. Currently, Mrs. Romani teaches AP Statistics, Statistics and Honors Algebra 2. In addition, she is the moderator for Mathletes, CB’s competitive math team.
Mr. Casey Reeve ’04 joined the Christian Brothers High School faculty in 2015. He holds a bachelor’s degree mathematics and health science, as well as a master’s degree in educational leadership from Northern Arizona University. Currently, Mr. Reeve teaches Accelerated Algebra and Statistics. In addition to teaching, Mr. Reeve coaches the Academic Decathlon team and runs the Movies with Reeve club. Most importantly though, he absolutely loves math!
Larry Reel joined the Christian Brothers High School faculty in 2015. He holds a bachelor’s degree in history from CSU Sacramento. He earned his master’s degree in liberal arts & humanities from CSU Sacramento. Mr. Reel is the Junior Class moderator and the assistant coach for the cross country and track teams.
Kirk Purdy grew up in a large family in Nebraska and South Dakota and graduated with a B.S. in History Education and an M.A. in Counseling, both from The University of South Dakota. He has worked in education for more than 34 years, and over 31 as a Catholic school counselor, 18 here at Christian Brothers. He and his wife, Suzyn, have two daughters, McKenna and Latavia, who are both CB graduates. He enjoys playing golf, watching sports and spending time with his family.
Mrs. Cecilia Powers joined the Christian Brothers High School faculty in 1994. She holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Loyola Marymount University and social science teaching credential and master’s degree in Educational Leadership from St. Mary’s College of California. Mrs. Powers has held many roles at CB including teacher, Student Activities Director, Assistant Principal, and Dean of Students. While supporting all Lasallian Student Life Programs, Mrs. Powers primarily works with student government, student clubs, teaches Leadership and is the graduation coordinator.
Mr. Dale Milton, Assistant Athletic Director, joined the Christian Brothers High School faculty in 2004. He holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Holy Names University, teaching credential from Holy Names University, and master’s degree in Sports and Fitness Management from The University of San Francisco.
Ms. April Melarkey join the Christian Brothers High School staff in 2016. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from California State University, Sacramento and an M.A. in Counseling Psychology, M.S. in Educational Psychology, and a Pupil Personnel Services Credential from National University. Ms. Melarkey is also the Brother David Brennan coordinator and the National Honor Society moderator.
