Michael Dion
Michael Dion joined the CB faculty in 2024.
Mr. Ben Naval joined CB’s math department in 2023. He holds a bachelor’s degree in pure mathematics with a minor in math and science education, and a single-subject teaching credential. His hobbies include hiking, fitness, coffee, and video games, and one of his biggest life goals is to visit all of the National Parks.
Ms. Amanda Valine joined the Christian Brothers High School faculty in 2022. She holds a bachelor’s degree in liberal studies, a multiple subject teaching credential, and a single subject math credential—all earned from California State University, Sacramento.
Dr. Alberto Edradan joined Christian Brothers faculty in 2021. He holds a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, and a PhD in math. He has taught a variety of math courses both in high school and college level. Currently, he is teaching Precalculus and Geometry.
Ms. Michaela Andrews joined the Christian Brothers faculty in 2019. She holds a bachelor’s degree in liberal studies with a math concentration and a master’s degree in curriculum instruction in mathematics. Ms. Andrews has been teaching math since 2012 at various levels, ranging from Algebra 1A – AP Calculus. Currently, her primary focus has been teaching AP Computer Science Principles and AP Computer Science A.
Mrs. Annette Romani joined the Christian Brothers High School faculty in 2016. She holds a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in mathematics from UC Davis. Currently, Mrs. Romani teaches AP Statistics, Statistics and Honors Algebra 2. In addition, she is the moderator for Mathletes, CB’s competitive math team.
Mr. Casey Reeve ’04 joined the Christian Brothers High School faculty in 2015. He holds a bachelor’s degree mathematics and health science, as well as a master’s degree in educational leadership from Northern Arizona University. Currently, Mr. Reeve teaches Accelerated Algebra and Statistics. In addition to teaching, Mr. Reeve coaches the Academic Decathlon team and runs the Movies with Reeve club. Most importantly though, he absolutely loves math!
Mrs. Courtney Hendry joined the Christian Brothers High School faculty in 2014. She holds a bachelor’s degree in merchandising management from Oregon State University, multiple subject teaching credential, and single subject teaching credential in mathematics. Currently, Mrs. Hendry teaches Algebra 1B, Geometry and Advanced Algebra with Financial Applications. In addition to teaching, Mrs. Hendry is the Assistant Liturgy Coordinator and Assistant Coach for CB’s Robotics Team. She has been teaching since 2002 in Catholic elementary and high schools.
