Alonzo Aguillio ’20

Alonzo Aguillio joined the Christian Brothers High School faculty in 2025 as a a mathematics and engineering teacher. He holds a bachelor’s degree from California State University Chico in CAGD (computer animation and game design) with an applied computer graphics minor and psychology with a child development minor. He is Project Lead the Way (PLTW) Engineering certified and serves as the robotics team coach. Mr. Aguillio graduated from Christian Brothers High School in 2020.

Sergio Castillo ’17 joined the faculty in 2023 as a mathematics teacher.

Ben Naval

Mr. Ben Naval joined CB’s math department in 2023. He holds a bachelor’s degree in pure mathematics with a minor in math and science education, and a single-subject teaching credential. His hobbies include hiking, fitness, coffee, and video games, and one of his biggest life goals is to visit all of the National Parks.

David DJ Bowen

Mr. DJ Bowen joined the administrative team at Christian Brothers High School in 2023. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and economics, a master’s degree in the art of teaching, and a single subject teaching credential, all from St. Mary’s College of California.

Amanda Valine

Ms. Amanda Valine joined the Christian Brothers High School faculty in 2022. She holds a bachelor’s degree in liberal studies, a multiple subject teaching credential, and a single subject math credential—all earned from California State University, Sacramento. In 2025, Amanda joined the Lasallian Student Life Office as the Director of Student Activities.

Alberto Edradan

Dr. Alberto Edradan joined Christian Brothers faculty in 2021. He holds a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, and a PhD in math. He has taught a variety of math courses both in high school and college level.

Michaela Andrews

Ms. Michaela Andrews joined the Christian Brothers faculty in 2019. She holds a bachelor’s degree in liberal studies with a math concentration and a master’s degree in curriculum instruction in mathematics. Ms. Andrews has been teaching math since 2012 at various levels, ranging from Algebra 1A – AP Calculus. Currently, her primary focus has been teaching AP Computer Science Principles and AP Computer Science A.

Annette Romani

Mrs. Annette Romani joined the Christian Brothers High School faculty in 2016. She holds a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in mathematics from UC Davis. Currently, Mrs. Romani teaches AP Statistics, Statistics and Honors Algebra 2. In addition, she is the moderator for Mathletes, CB’s competitive math team.
