Megan White joined the CB faculty as a science teacher in 2023. She holds a bachelor’s degree in liberal studies from California State University, Sacramento and a master’s degree in teaching from UC Davis.

Mr. Greg Potter, Ph.D., joined the Christian Brothers High School faculty in 2022. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in chemistry, and a Ph.D. in Education — all earned from UC Davis. Dr. Potter teaches Honors and AP Chemistry.
Mr. Tom Edwards joined the Christian Brothers High School faculty in 2021. Mr. Edwards holds a bachelor’s degree in marine engineering from the California Maritime Academy. Mr. Edwards went through the teaching program at St. Mary’s College after retiring from a career in power generation related fields. Mr. Edwards has over 15 years of teaching experience holding multiple and single subject teaching credentials in the areas of general education, science, engineering, marketing, and architecture. Mr. Edwards moderates the Environmental Club and Sustainable Gardening Club.
Mrs. Chris Thayer joined the Christian Brothers High School faculty in 2012. She holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and California single subject teaching credential in physical science. Mrs. Thayer teaches Principles of Engineering, Physics, and Integrated Physics & Chemistry.
Mr. Kevin Scully joined the Christian Brothers High School faculty in 2016. He holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from the State University of New York, Albany and a master’s degree from Columbia University. Currently, Mr. Scully teaches Biology and Biotechnology.
Mr. David Levasseur joined the Christian Brothers High School faculty in 2005. He holds a bachelor’s degree in biology/psychology and multiple and single subject teaching credentials from Saint Mary’s College of California. Mr. Levasseur is the Science Olympiad Club moderator, Junior Class moderator, and the assistant Cross Country coach.
Dr. Bill Iliff ’76 joined the Christian Brothers High School faculty in 2011. He holds a bachelor’s degree in biology/psychology from UCLA, a doctor of dental surgery (DDS) from UCLA, a master’s degree in science education from Montana State University, and a graduate professional certificate in genetics and genomics from Stanford University. In addition to his administrative responsibilities, Dr. Iliff teaches science courses and moderates the Wellspring Breakfast Service Club and Future Medical Professionals Club.
Mr. Bernie Eckel rejoined the Christian Brothers High School faculty in 2008. He holds a bachelor’s degree in physics from Washington State University. Currently, Mr. Eckel teaches Honors Physics, AP Physics, and Integrated Physics and Chemistry.
Mrs. Nicole Brousseau joined the Christian Brothers High School faculty in 2000. She holds a bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in chemistry from CSU Sacramento and a teaching credential from National University. Currently, Mrs. Brousseau teaches AP Biology and Accelerated Biology.
