David Perry, Ed.D.

Dr. David Perry began his tenure as president in July of 2025 and served as principal of Christian Brothers from July 2023 to June 2025. He is a proud graduate of St. Mary’s College of California where he earned his bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate degrees. The focus of his dissertation research was building inclusive learning environments in Catholic schools, specifically around supporting teachers to welcome students with identified learning disabilities into their classrooms. He credits the Christian Brothers and the Lasallian Catholic charism with inspiring his call to work in education. Prior to joining the Christian Brothers High School community, Dr. Perry served as president of Cristo Rey High School in Sacramento and St. Patrick-St. Vincent High School in Vallejo. He also served as principal of St. Andrew School in Florida and St. James School in Davis. Dr. Perry is currently a member of the Board of Trustees for St. Mary’s College of California, where he co-chaired the President Search Committee and chairs the Student Life Committee. Dr. Perry is the father of Charles ’26, Kaylin ’24, and Drew ’23.

Lisa Keyson, Ed Tech.M

Lisa Keyson joined the Christian Brothers High School community in 2022 as the Educational Technology Specialist. She holds a bachelor’s degree in education and a master’s degree in educational technology.

Jessica Fitzgerald

Jessical Fitzgerald joined the CB faculty in 2022 teaching American Sign Language as a member of the World Languages Department.

Elizabeth Testa

Elizabeth Testa joined the CB Admissions Department in 2022. She currently serves as the Admissions Associate, helping students and families with all aspects of the exploration, application, and admissions process.

Aimee De Leon

Mrs. Aimee De Leon joined the Lasallian Student Life Office at Christian Brothers High School in 2022. She works closely with the Director, Assistant Director, and Assistant Dean in the LSLO, to prepare for student events, activities, and retreats.  

Sister Maria Aguilar, SJS

Sr. Maria Aguilar, SJS, joined the Christian Brothers High School faculty in 2022. She holds a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts, a BCLAD California teaching credential, and a master’s degree in education – all from San Diego State University. She also earned a master’s degree in inclusive education from Loyola Marymount University. Sr. Maria Aguilar belongs to the Sister Servants of the Blessed Sacrament and has more than 20 years of experience in Catholic education.

Thomas Fleming ’04

Thomas Fleming ’04 joined the Social Studies Department in 2022. Born and raised in Sacramento, Mr. Fleming graduated from Christian Brothers in 2004. Crediting the strong support he received at CB, he became the first person in his family to graduate from college and earn an advanced degree. Mr. Fleming graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a dual major in history and legal studies in 2008 and San Francisco State University in 2015 with a master’s degree in history primarily focused on Mediterranean history before 1500 and American history, 1877 to the present day.  Following his graduation from SFSU, Mr. Fleming began a fulfilling career as an educator. He has worked in a variety of environments ranging from a private day school in Huntington Beach, to a public high school in Stockton. He is thrilled to be home at Christian Brothers as a Social Studies teacher and Open Mic Night moderator. When he is not immersed in the study of human history, Mr. Fleming enjoys spending time with his wife and son, tinkering with computers, reading science fiction, or hiking around Donner Lake with his dog, Commodore.

Gregory Potter, Ph.D.

Mr. Greg Potter, Ph.D., joined the Christian Brothers High School faculty in 2022. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in chemistry, and a Ph.D. in Education — all earned from UC Davis. Dr. Potter teaches Honors and AP Chemistry.

 

Amanda Valine

Ms. Amanda Valine joined the Christian Brothers High School faculty in 2022. She holds a bachelor’s degree in liberal studies, a multiple subject teaching credential, and a single subject math credential—all earned from California State University, Sacramento.

 

Ashley Wake

Ms. Ashley Wake joined the Christian Brothers High School faculty in 2022.  She holds a bachelor’s degree in feminist studies with an emphasis in history from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a master’s degree in teaching from the University of San Francisco. Ms. Wake is the moderator of the weightlifting club. She is an avid scholar and devout Catholic who loves spending time with her husband and three children.
