Call Me Madam – November 12-21

Christian Brothers High School Theatre Department presents the musical comedy “Call Me Madam,” November 12-14 and 19-21. The Irving Berlin classic will be the first live production seen in the George Cunningham ’40 Performing Arts Center since February 2020.

Originally presented on Broadway in 1950, “Call Me Madam” is the story of Sally Adams, a Washington, D.C. socialite whose service to the Democrats was rewarded with a post as ambassador to a tiny European country.  As Sally works to improve relations between two countries, she falls in love with the Prime Minister.  Her assistant, Ken, runs into his own romantic problems when he falls in love with a princess.

“Call Me Madam” tickets may be purchased via the Ticket Hub at cbhs-sacramento.org.  Evening performances are scheduled for 7 PM, November 12, 13, 19, and 20. Matinees begin at 2 PM on November 14 and 21.  Seating is limited.
